Virtually two decades separate these two images. The first, took three days to construct the scaffolding and camera platform and mount the 10 x 8 Sinar plate camera eight feet above the shoes. The image was recorded on to Ektachrome 100 film after endless polaroids. The second is an image, again from above, for the ongoing Virtual Shoe Project presently being undertaken by Northampton Central Museum under the watchful eye of Eilidh Young. Shot on the latest Nikon D series camera at 3000 asa, hand held, from conception to exposure……27 minutes.
